Recycled Poly(ethylene terephthalate) (rPET)

rPET costs no more than non-recycled plastic, but has the same benefits. It is low cost and lightweight, but with high resistance and high impact strength, making it excellent for use in microwave food trays and food packaging films. As well as being environmentally sound, research shows that consumers prefer recycled content in packaging.
